APSG 40 Fall Meeting: Save the Date & Call for Papers

Dear Members,

APSG is pleased to announce details for APSG 40, our Fall meeting to be held on Friday, November 9 at the Anadarko campus in The Woodlands.

We invite you to submerge yourself in Advancements in Offshore Positioning - Evolution and Revolution, exploring Offshore technology that is improving the effectiveness and efficiency of obtaining first oil and sustaining production as well as reducing operational risks and improving safety across the board. 

This meeting will feature a keynote presentation by Ed Saade, president of Fugro USA, as well as talks by APSG members throughout the day. Examples of topics that may fall in this theme include:

  • Remote services to reduce offshore personnel
  • Risks and rewards of adopting new and innovative technologies
  • Expectations from Operators on new technologies and efficiencies
  • Crowd sourcing and collaboration across industries - collecting knowledge for global consumption

Interested in presenting? Please send the title and abstract of your topic to chair@apsg.info by Friday, September 28.
