APSG US West: Winter Meeting is a conference featuring presentations from experts in Geomatics, Surveying, Positioning, Geospatial Data and Mapping Sciences. The topic at this year's Winter Meeting is "What Are The Practical Methods and Procedures That Will Improve Geospatial Data Management In Oil and Gas?" and the presentation topics for this meeting include:
• Earth-Centered Earth-Fixed: A Geodetic Approach to Scalable Visualization without Cartographic Distortion
• Improving Well and Section Corner Coordinates: Ramifications for GIS
• How Something for Nothing May Be the Key to Unlocking the Value of Your Data

The event will be held at Merrick and Company at 2450 South Peoria Street, Aurora, CO 80014-5475. Please note that Merrick’s building is about one (1) block south of E. Iliff Avenue on the east side of Peoria Street.
Social Location
After the meeting, the APSG will hold a Social at Noonan's Tavern at 13521 E. Iliff Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014.
